The Final Goodbye

Hey all! So i have less than 35 hours left in California before I am off to experience college life. And let me tell you, I could not be more excited!! This past week has been very hectic. Monday and Tuesday I went to Pismo Beach with Michael and his dad and uncle. Wednesday started the long chain of goodbyes to friends I have known through the years. Today was more of the same. And tomorrow is too. I have breakfast with some friends in Los Altos, lunch with Zack in Morgan Hill, coffee at Pete's in Morgan Hill with Steve, and finally visiting Michael and his family at their new house in Los Altos. I am all over the place tomorrow and I still have to pack! ahhh! Wish me luck, and I will post again tomorrow night.

CU Boulder Here I Come!

Hey guys! This is my first official post on my blog called CU at Boulder. Basically, I will be attempting to document my life in college: the school work, dorm life, parties, late night cramming, the food, friends, girls and whatever else I happen to encounter. I fly out to Colorado on Saturday, August 15th for a leadership program I was accepted into and then I have orientation. I begin classes the 23rd of August. I hope you enjoy my posts! How it all Began..

My first visit to Boulder, Colorado took place during March of 2009. My dad and I flew out there for a few days to check it out. We left from San Jose, Ca and landed some 3ish hours later in Denver, Co. From there we rented a car and drove about 30 minutes or so to our hotel, just walking distance from CU Boulder. We went on some tours, drove around the town, and checked out the Pearl Street Mall. We were lucky that we got to see some snow and deal with the winter conditions. Below are a couple of pictures that I took with my iPhone during the trip. Right after coming back from Boulder, I knew I wanted to go there! :D
